About Us

Omnificent Technologies, Inc. was founded in Sandy, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City, by techies that have been doing web development since the early days of the world wide web in the 90's. Graphical web browsers were new and Netscape ruled the scene.

Originally Nanoworks, which was started in 1997, the company changed it's name to better fit it's creative abilities and knowledgeable resources. The founder, Blake Anderson, created the company after being part of a project that developed one of the first true and fully featured internet malls. The word eCommerce did not even exist at the time and very few websites accepted credit cards and none of those were malls. The project included a mall search engine, then called Web Safari, a shopping cart that spanned across all shops in the mall, real time credit card checkout, online catalogs, database driven dynamic content, and more. All of these things are common today, but back then it was all bleeding edge technology. While most "internet malls" were nothing more than a bunch of independent web pages loosely tied together and accepting orders through the US mail, CyberMalls was leading the pack. The goal was a neatly packaged system that could be sold as a turn-key internet commerce solution. That goal was met with several systems sold and the project became a success.

Today, Omnificent Technologies, Inc. continues to provide a knowledgeable and sensible approach to creating and maintaining internet solutions. If you are a small company just starting out, it doesn't have to break your budget to have a web presence or eCommerce website. Even if you are a large company, reasonable solutions are available to meet your internet and intranet goals.
